Ronnie Irani

Lancashire, Essex andEnglandall rounder. Played 3 test matches and 31 one-day internationals for his country.

Ronnie Irani played professional cricket for many years for Essex CCC and forEngland. His cricketing career came to a premature end as the result of a severe knee injury and he was forced to rethink his future fairly rapidly.

He had gained a fair amount of media and after dinner speaking experience during his cricketing career, appearing on TV sports shows such as BBC’s Question of Sport and this proved invaluable in his quest to fill the void after cricket. Awarded a contract with TalkSPORT to co-host the Breakfast Show with Alan Brazil, Ronnie has now replaced the gloves and pads with headphones and a mic!

In addition to being in great demand for his after dinner speaking skills, Ronnie now also organises and hosts prestigious sporting events featuring some of Britain’s great sporting heroes including Darren Gough, Paul Merson, Kyran Bracken and Phil Tufnell.
