Major General Patrick Cordingley DSO
With a military career spanning four decades, Major General Patrick Cordingley DSO DSc FRGS is best known for commanding the 7th Armoured Brigade – the Desert Rats – during the first Gulf War.
Since retiring from the army in 2000 he has become an authorative commentator on international affairs and has appeared on various television programmes and is a regular on BBC Radio 4. He holds a number of trustee positions with various organisations and has written two best selling books.
