Peter Sissons

Peter Sissons is one of British television’s most experienced news presenters. During a career spanning 25 years at ITN and 20 at the BBC he presented almost every network news programme on terrestrial television.

He has presented a host of special programmes marking major events, succeeded Sir Robin Day as presenter of the BBC’s flagship discussion programme, Question Time, and often deputised for Sir David Frost on Breakfast with Frost.

He has won the “Best Front of Camera Performer” Award given by the Broadcasting Press Guild and the Royal Television Society’s prestigious “Judges’ Award” for his work on Channel Four News. While Peter presented Channel 4 News the programme won an unprecented seven consecutive BAFTA awards.

He now concentrates on corporate work, being recognised as one of the safest pair of hands on the conference platform.
