James May is best known for his dry witted sense of humor, for being a typical English gent and being one third of the presenting team of BBC2’s hugely successful Top Gear.
In his last television project James was on a mission to save modern man. A generation ago men were a resourceful, practical and dependable band of brothers, if only it had lasted! James May’s Man Lab aired on BBC2 last year and series two is currently in production. Before that James was celebrating the good old days and revisiting once hugely popular toys in the ratings winning James May’s Toy Stories. The six part series for BBC2 proved that even in a world of Wii’s and Xbox’s, Meccano, Hornby & Scalextric to name a few, have an important role to play.
He’s been to the edge of space, shared a caravan with Oz Clarke and attempted to fly with a jet back on his back. James is also a very successful writer of both books and columns and has a keen interest in cars that are either very posh or very basic and has a passion for motorbikes and aeroplanes.
