Dominic Littlewood was born by the coast in Southend on Sea and enjoys many water sport hobbies including mono and bare foot skiing, wake and knee boarding, scuba diving and sailing, a real action man who thrives on all challenges.
After breaking his neck while back packing in Australiain 1990 Dominic made his own 28 hour journey to hospital where he underwent a spinal fusion of his C5 and went on to make a full recovery.
Having been a type 1 diabetic since the age of ten, Dominic has witnessed many changes in the NHS and medical procedures and regularly writes for many magazines/newspapers including, The Telegraph, Balance and Top Gear.
After running his own successful business for many years he was spotted by Channel 4s ‘Fakin It’ where he undertook the task of training a vicar to become a successful sales negotiator who passed the on screen test first time, beating many well experienced salespeople at their own game.
Dominic is a very competitive team player narrowly missing out on winning Celebrity Total Wipe out by just one second; competing in Strictly Come Dancing and Hole in the wall.
A keen Motorcyclist and lover of American cars he has personally imported both new and second hand cars from over the pond and knows the procedure of transportation, duty, tax and clearing imports for their SVA approval.
Due to his tenacity for tackling rouge companies and cowboy trades people and his passion for solving consumer problems he currently has one of the busiest schedules in TV. Programmes include Cowboy Builders, The One Show, Don’t get done, get Dom, Saints & Scroungers, Fake Britain, Beat the Burglar, Wrong car, Right car, To buy or not to buy and Flycatchers, How to Holiday.
After investigating and reporting on most tricks, scams and cons used each day by unscrupulous scam artists Dominic has an extensive knowledge which he regally appears on TV to warn unsuspecting viewers about.
