Craig Doyle

Craig Doyle was born in Dublin, Ireland on December 17th, 1970. As a child, his ambition was to be a veterinarian. However, he eventually ended up studying Sociology and History at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth. This was followed by postgraduate studies at the London College of Printing, where he earned a diploma in Broadcast Journalism.

After graduation, he worked on BBC local radio. This was followed by his first television job, as a presenter on UTV’s Disney Club. His subsequent television jobs include Tomorrow’s World and Fasten Your Seatbelt. He then spent six years hosting Holiday, a longtime travel show on the BBC. In 2004, he began hosting “The Craig Doyle Show,” an Irish travel/celebrity program.

Craig is an avid runner. Of all the places he’s visited for his television show,Italy is a clear favorite. His brother, Keith, hosts the holiday show No Frontiers, on RTE.
