WINGS OF LIGHT

WINGS OF LIGHTWings of Light Package Show is extremely cost effective, being fully rehearsed and costumed, strongly influenced by Cirque Du Soleil, Wings of Light contains dance, contortion, acrobatics, roller -skating, aerial hoop, and aerial silks. The Wings of Light can be booked as an individual act with two performers or with three, seven and nine performers.

Hoop - Performed by Britain’s top aerial hoop artist. A girl mounts a large hanging hoop inside which she performs a routine of bends and stretches, making beautiful shapes with grace and elegance. Hoops have recently been featured to great effect in the new Cirque Du Soleil show “Quidam”.

Wings of Light (Gymnast) - The haunting sound of Pie Jesu, a beautiful gymnast performs a series of graceful movements with both a hoop and ball. She amazes as she floats the ball effortlessly across her body making beautiful shapes and elegant lines. Twirling patterns in the air and bending her body into supple shapes. Jennifer Maunton Gardiner recently represented England at the Commonwealth Games. She is also joined by the Wings of Light, two dancers in butterfly costumes with long white silk covered arms who perform an adagio whilst laser pictures and images are projected onto their costumes. The whole impact is one of grace, style, beauty and elegance The laser pictures projections are to be supplied by the client.

Wings of Light (with Roller Skaters & Acrobalance) - The butterflies exit and are replaced by two exciting young acrobat/dancers who perform a composition of lifts, balances and acrobats. Another two butterflies but this time on skates soon join them. They glide across the floor spinning and twirling making mesmerising patterns. The piece finishes with all six performers on stage with a mixture of acrobatics and dance. As the performers hit their final position, the female butterfly is lifted high into the air and the audience is left with the feeling of calm.

Silks - Two boys and at least one girl, slowly descend the silks that have dropped from the ceiling. They perform synchronised, highly visual aerial ballet with grace and style. Their bodies contort and flow almost as though they are becoming one with the fabric. They twirl, contort, spin and dramatically drop at high speed.

Finale - Finally, all artists come together with acrobatics tumbling across the dance floor, flipping, somersaulting through the air, adagio lifts, leaps and spins – a dazzling finale to up-tempo music.
