Brandy Wine Bridge
A two or three piece Mediaeval minstrel group, Brandy Wine Bridge will accompany your banquet with ballads and tunes, inviting you to lustily enjoin with each rousing chorus.
As troubadours, they will wander the Hall, alighting at your table to offer a rendition to you and your Lady.
Brandywine Bridge have over 15 years experience of entertaining audiences of every type and nationality. As well as being resident musicians at Warwick Castle, the group have worked at venues all over the country. Well known tunes and songs are mixed with self penned pieces to give an excellent balance.
Traditional period instruments include Recorders, Guitars, Mandolin, Concertina, Spoons as well as vocals.
The group are also available with character actors for An evening with Robin Hood.
Musical Santagram
A Santagram performed in full seasonal costume can put the icing on your cake at your Christmas celebration. For parties you can enjoy sing-a-long carols and a selection of your favourite Christmas melodies.
We will tailor the size of your Santagram to meet your requirement. The smallest group is of three performers which can fit into the tightest of corners yet be loud enough when required to entertain over a large area. The Santagrams can consist of up to 12 performers to give the greatest impact and cope with the largest of venues. The size of the group is usually determined by the size of the venue and the length of time that music is required. Because they do not need any amplification they can move/march to different locations quickly being both mobile and flexible.
Son Real
Son Real is a group of professional musicians whose aim is to provide the best in original folk and popular music from their native Latin America. The musicians come from cultures with a rich musical heritage and have spent many years studying and playing a wide variety of traditional music. The repertoire focusing on the most traditional folk styles from Cuba and South America , such as Cumbia from Colombia Samba from Brazil . Mambo from Puerto Rico Merengue from Dominican Republic they blend three females and males voices accompanied by guitars keyboard and percussion. They also play hits of the Gypsy Kings. The richness of their intricate rhythms and lilting melodies from the vast range of Latin American folklore keep audiences constantly surprised and amazed.
Dante Ferrara
Entertainment for banquets and special events can vary enormously depending on the musicians chosen. With Dante Ferrara you are guaranteed genuine music and songs from the period on correct instruments. Ideal as a solo minstrel, Dante can also be superbly complemented by a lively jester / compere for Mediaeval evenings. Working with a jester, a banquet for 70 guests might follow these suggestions... As guests enter the venue: lively music on the hurdy gurdy with introductory entertainment from a jester. A short speech to welcome guests and announcement to dinner. During the banquet: fanfares to introduce each course. Gentle background music on the lute, cittern, English bagpipes and colascione.
Eureka Marching Band
What is Eureka ?
Eureka Dixieland Jazz & Marching Bands are tailored to suit your particular event. Experienced professional musicians, playing acoustic instruments (amplified if needed) are never too loud for the occasion, even at small venues.
The bass player uses the marching tuba (sousaphone) so that the band can be mobile, and can, if needed, wander through the audience playing requests, happy birthday, congratulations or fanfares at the drop of a hat! The repertoire includes popular tunes from the 1920's and '30's, marches, ragtime and blues. Attractive outfits are worn to suit the occasion including promotional clothes if required.
The size of the band can vary from a trio to a full parade band.
The Hookey Band
A very experienced Barn Dance and Ceilidh Band who have been in the business for more than 20 years, this five piece group will give you a great night's entertainment.
One of the most popular, famous and versatile Folk Dance bands in the country, The Hookey Band have been phenomenally successful in providing a complete evenings entertainment at Irish and Scottish Ceilidhs, Barn Dances and Western Ho Downs, with dances being clearly explained by the band's own caller, who has a devilish sense of humour. Equally at home with Corporate Functions, Colleges, Conferences, Social Clubs or Society Weddings, you can rest assured that any event The Hookey Band are involved in will go with a swing,
The band can also supplement their act with a 1960's / Rock 'n' Roll set or provide a more formal concert format.
Mariachi Azteca
Mariachi Azteca is a 4, 6, 8 or 10 piece band of professional musicians specialising in traditional Mexican popular music, created by Orlando Rincon Padilla in September 1986.
Since its formation, the band has played at numerous venues in London and around Europe and appeared several times on British TV. At the invitation of the Mexican government, it has been representing Mexico at the Mexican stand at Olympia for the International World Travel Market.
The band, the first and only based in this country to perform Mariachi music, consists of violin, trumpets, guitars, guitarron, accordion and vocals. The music is exciting, vibrant and instantly appealing, combining the authentic and colourful costumes of the band and dancers, the Mariachi Azteca offers a unique entertainment spectacular.
The Tropical Islanders
The Tropical Islanders are one of the UK's top Caribbean steel bands. A professional, smartly dressed band performing together for almost fifteen years, they will prove an attractive addition to any function.
The Tropical Islanders have performed at most major banqueting and conference venues in the Midlands, including the International Convention Centre, the Forte Crest Hotel, the Holiday Inn and Penns Hall etc.
They have also entertained at many other first class venues in the UK and several seasons in five star hotels in the Middle East.
