REBECCA
STEPHENS
Rebecca Stephens
can truly
be called
an inspiration
to womankind
– one
of Britain’s
most significant
female achievers!
From being
the first
British woman
to climb Everest,
to being the
first to conquer
the “seven
peaks”,
the highest
summit on
each of the
world’s
seven continentals.
She has taken
on and mastered
some of the
harshest challenges
of nature….
And thrives
on them! On
every climbing
expedition
Rebecca demonstrates
endurance,
courage and
a determination
to succeed.
Time and time
again she
has driven
herself to
new limits
to achieve
her goals.
Her experience
as a TV presenter
is well documented
and she was
a “Tomorrows
World”
presenter
for nearly
two years.
She is an
outstanding
speaker on
both motivation
and teamwork
and draws
from her personal
experiences
she inspires
the audience
into seeing
that they
may well have
underestimated
their own
personal capabilities
both individually
and collectively.
Rebecca has
been selected
by blue chip
companies
for major
talks and
presentations,
where she
is highly
valued for
her business
and motivational
skills, as
well as admired
for her courage,
character
and charming
personality.
It was while
working as
a journalist
in 1989 that
she visited
Everest for
the first
time to report
on an expedition
climbing the
North East
Ridge. Just
four years
later, in
1993, she
returned to
Everest and
it was then
that she became
the first
British woman
to successfully
reach the
summit.
With explorers
Sir Ranulph
Fiennes and
Dr. Mike Stroud
OBE she took
part in the
gruelling
Eco Challenge
race across
Canada. This
included transport
by horses,
swimming,
climbing,
canoeing,
white-water
rafting and
mountain biking
across different
types of terrain.
