Paul
Zenon is one of
Britain's leading
magicians - and
funny with it. He
has performed in
around thirty countries
in every conceivable
location, from the
London Palladium
to the jungles of
Belize, from the
Mirage Hotel, Las
Vegas to an aircraft
carrier in the Adriatic,
and from the Comedy
Store to the back
of a truck in a
Bosnian war zone.
He has literally
hundreds of TV appearances
to his name including
three high-rating
hour-long one-man
specials on Channel
4. Paul is probably
the UK's busiest
stand-up corporate
entertainer, performing
after-dinner entertainment,
link presenting
and hosting awards
ceremonies at events
worldwide.
Paul
has spent a lifetime
dedicated to deceit.
He pulled off his
first sting aged
just eight, selling
fake raffle tickets
to the residents
of his street for
a non-existent prize.
As a teenager he
worked in a Blackpool
joke shop before
setting off to travel
the Meditteranean
as a street magician,
fire-eater and phoney
fortune-teller.
After a short spell
as a casino croupier
in Denmark he was
fired for cheating
and returned to
the UK where he
began performing
in summer shows
and comedy clubs.
He went on to host
tours for the British
and U.S. Forces
in locations as
far afield as Gibraltar,
Croatia, Bosnia,
Belize and the Falkland
and Ascension Islands.
In
the early Nineties
Paul presented four
series of children's
programmes - Tricky
Business and Tricks
'n' Tracks on BBC1,
produced and presented
Magic You Can Do,
a retail-release
teach-yourself videotape,
and he was the creator,
writer and Associate
Producer of Crazy
Cottage, an ITV
gameshow which reached
number one in the
ratings in each
of it's three series.
In
recent years, in
addition to his
corporate and TV
work, Paul has appeared
in Australia, France,
Germany, Greece,
Hong Kong, Indonesia,
Ireland, Italy,
Kuwait, Malaysia,
Spain, Sweden and
the United States,
had sellout runs
at the Edinburgh
Festival, and toured
the UK to rave reviews
with his one-man
show Paul Zenon
- Off the Street,
On the Road. For
the past few years
he has been the
resident inflight
video presenter
for Britannia Airways.
His TV 'street magic'
shows Turning Tricks,
Tricky Christmas
and Trick or Treat
have been screened
worldwide and are
amongst Channel
4's highest-ever
rating specials.
Paul
has acted as magic
and comedy consultant
to numerous TV shows
and a number of
effects created
by Paul have been
featured by American
magician David Blaine
in his TV specials.
Paul is an experienced
pundit and dedicated
skeptic with regard
to all matters 'paranormal'
and an expert on
the subject of scams
and conmen.
Recent
TV appearances have
included Chris Moyles
Live (C5), It Shouldn't
Happen to a TV Performer
(ITV), World's 50
Greatest Magic Tricks
(C4), Secret History
- Magic at War (C4),
The Big Stage (C5),
Ready Steady Cook
(BBC), Richard and
Judy (C4), Live

and This Morning

and travel' TV special
set in Sweden. His
new book 100 Ways

host of 22 one-hour
episodes of Worst
Case Scenario on
