Military and War

So, how would you react when the bullets are flying, the bombs are falling and you're surrounded by a cacophony of noise from blazing machine guns, mortar launchers and surface to air missiles?

Thankfully few of us have ever had to cope with the sights and sounds of war - the terror, the intensity of having to make life and death decisions, the need to achieve vital military objectives, even if it means risking you’re own life. Wars produce heroes and victims, it could be said that sometimes they are one and the same e.g. an RAF pilot risks his life on a low-flying mission across enemy territory. His plane is brought down by the enemy, he is captured and tortured. He emerges from the harrowing experience as both hero and victim.

Bravery, valour, courage, selflessness and the ability to lead others - these are special qualities embodied in outstanding individuals who have not only coped but triumphed in the face of hostile fire. Their incredible experiences and anecdotes combine to serve up a powerful and moving spoken offering that both fascinates and entertains.
