CAROLE SPIERS

Highly experienced in the world of public speaking, Carole Spiers is a dynamic, passionate and entertaining presenter who, over the past 20 years, has travelled extensively to fulfil speaking engagements and inspire audiences over five continents.

A Vice President of the International Stress Management AssociationUK (ISMAUK) and member of the Professional Speakers Association, Carole’s experience in Stress Management consultancy, training and counselling in commerce and industry have provided her with a wealth of knowledge, anecdotes and stories, with which to energise and entertain her audience.

Carole's passion for her subject, together with her vibrant and energetic personality, ensures that her presentations are stimulating, inspirational and challenging. She also handles sensitive issues with an empathy and understanding born of experience - enabling her listeners to achieve a greater awareness of, and benefit from, proven techniques that will help them to deal with issues that are all too often swept under the carpet. As a leading Business Stress Management guru, and is frequently called upon by national and international media to provide comment and to give keynote presentations on stress-related issues. During the last year she has appeared on NBC, CBS, Sky TV, BBC (TV and radio), LBC, ITV, Carlton TV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

Carole is also the author of Tolley’s ‘Managing Stress in the Workplace’ – a comprehensive guide to stress management published in May 2003 by Lexis Nexis UK - and is a regular contributor to periodicals, trade and professional journals, as well as the national press.

Her pro-bono work includes an involvement with the Samaritans (since 1980), the Probation Service, Wormwood Scrubs Prison, Crisis and Capital Radio's 'Help a London Child'.
